Coal Mill Network News: On April 29, Ouyang Changyu, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Electricity Council, stated at the 2015 China Power Development Forum that the growth rate of electricity consumption is expected to generally rebound in the second, third, and fourth quarters of this year. Considering factors such as the macroeconomic situation, temperature and base numbers, the reduction of electricity prices for industrial and commercial use, and energy substitution, it is expected that the growth rate of electricity consumption in the last three quarters will generally rebound. It is estimated that the total electricity consumption in the first half of the year will be 2.68 trillion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of about 2%; the total electricity consumption for the whole year is expected to be 5.69-5.80 trillion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 3%-5%. The power supply capacity is sufficient, and non-fossil energy.
According to the news from the coal mill network: On April 29, Ouyang Changyu, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Electricity Council, stated at the 2015 China Power Development Forum that the growth rate of electricity consumption is expected to generally rebound in the second, third, and fourth quarters of this year. Considering factors such as the macroeconomic situation, temperature and base numbers, the reduction in electricity prices for industrial and commercial use, and the substitution of electric energy, it is expected that the growth rate of electricity consumption in the last three quarters will generally rebound. It is estimated that the total electricity consumption in the first half of the year will be 2.68 trillion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of about 2%; the total electricity consumption for the whole year will be 5.69-5.80 trillion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 3%-5%.
The power supply capacity is sufficient, and the proportion of installed capacity for non-fossil energy generation has further increased. It is expected that in 2015, the newly added installed capacity for infrastructure will be about 100 million kilowatts, of which non-fossil energy generation will exceed 53 million kilowatts. It is expected that by the end of the year, the national installed capacity for power generation will be 1.46 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of about 7.5%, of which non-fossil energy generation will be 510 million kilowatts, accounting for about 35% of the total installed capacity.
The national power supply and demand are further relaxed. It is expected that the power supply capacity in the northeast and northwest regions will be relatively surplus, the supply and demand in the East China and Central China regions will be generally balanced, with some provinces having surplus supply capacity, the supply and demand in the North China region will be generally balanced, with some provinces experiencing tight supply, and the power supply and demand in the southern region will be generally balanced, with a significant power gap in Hainan. It is expected that the annual utilization hours of power generation equipment will be about 4,130 hours, of which the utilization hours of thermal power equipment will fall below 4,600 hours, setting a historical low.
