Safety is a responsibility

We often hear a saying: "Be careful, pay attention to safety!" Although it consists of only six short characters, this phrase contains so much meaning: it is about care, it is a warning, and it also reflects a reverence for life.   As employees of a company, we must fully understand the professional knowledge of our positions and diligently study safety regulations. Every safety regulation and operating procedure is accumulated from painful experiences; it is not a shackle that binds us, but a guiding beacon that leads us forward correctly. We need to instill the idea of "safety first" into our minds and cultivate the correct safety awareness.

We often hear this phrase: "Be careful, pay attention to safety!" Although it consists of only six short characters, this phrase contains so much meaning: it is about care, it is a warning, and it also reflects a reverence for life.

As employees of a company, we must fully understand the professional knowledge of our positions and earnestly study safety regulations. Every safety regulation and operating procedure is accumulated from painful experiences; it is not a shackle that binds us, but a guiding beacon that leads us forward correctly. We need to instill the idea of "safety first" into our minds, cultivate a correct view of safety behavior, and recognize that every job has its uniqueness. We cannot rely on experience; we must eliminate all habitual violations. Some people know that certain behaviors are violations but are reluctant to change because they find it troublesome, believing that since they have always done it this way, it won't be so coincidental that an accident occurs. This mindset is actually a manifestation of safety awareness numbness. Safety, in the opening and closing of lips and teeth, is a word that can be easily spoken, yet it carries great weight. As a company engaged in the manufacturing of large power station equipment, we must prioritize safety production in our agenda, discussing it every year, every month, every day, and tightening it at all times. Starting from the smallest details, we must strictly demand and be meticulous in our efforts to build a strong safety barrier. The root cause of all accidents lies in our mindset: insufficient safety awareness, lax on-site management, and a careless attitude towards work, among others. We must always keep safety in mind, shifting from "I need safety" to "I want safety," "I should be safe," and "I understand safety," achieving a qualitative leap in safety awareness.

Colleagues, for the development of the company, for personal safety, and for the happiness of our families, please take "safety" seriously, because only when safety is in our hearts can life be in our hands. Safety production should involve you, me, and everyone to safeguard! It is better to hear scolding than to hear crying; this is the responsibility of every safety manager. Safety is not only the lifeline of the company but also the lifeline of the employees. Therefore, adhering to rules and regulations in our work and ensuring safety is of utmost importance.
